Lipofilling is a technique used to create a permanent filler effect by moving fat from either the abdomen or thighs and re-injecting, usually into the face, to replace to volume in the cheek, chin, or improve wrinkles and ceases in the face. It can either be done on its own or in combination with other surgical procedures such as face and neck lift.

Done on its own it is possible to perform the procedure under local anesthetic as a day case, but is usually performed under general anesthetic.

What is Breast augmentation surgery?

Breast augmentation is a popular cosmetic surgery procedure designed to change both the shape and size of a woman’s breasts. It is performed under general anesthesia.Typically, we only insert the best implant of cohesive silicone gel or filled with a sterilized saline solution.

What to expect?

The breast implant can be inserted either under the breast tissue or under the breast muscle, or in a dual-plane.With the intention of minimizing scaring, incision can be made either along the areola, or in the armpit, or under the breast at the crease.

The breast implant shape can be round or anatomic, in both cases you will be explained the difference, the pros and cons and you will have the choice between the very best implants.

Breast reduction:

Breast reduction surgery is intended for women who are seeking relief from discomfort or pain in the back and the neck, breathing problems, skin irritation and / or willing to improve the aspect of their breasts.

Principles of breast reduction

The most common technique used involves the anchor-shaped incision with repositioning of the nipple and the areola. The excess of breast tissue and skin is removed and a natural curved breast is then reshaped.

The procedure is done under general anesthesia and a smooth course in hospital is then needed for 2 to 3 days. Stitches are located around the areola, in a vertical line extending downward and then run along the lower crease of the breast; the length of the scars depends on the size and the amount of breast excess.

After surgery, you will be wrapped with bandages, and then a special bra will be necessary to improve your recovery.

Breast reconstruction:

Breast reconstruction after a cancer

Mastectomy for breast cancer means removal of a part or the totality of breast tissue, with or without removing the lymphatic nodes under the armpit.Sometimes, radiotherapy is judged necessary after mastectomy, along with chemotherapy.

Breast reconstruction, by many ways and a panel of procedures can achieve a more acceptable look for the patient.

Reconstruction alternatives

Breast reconstruction aims to rebuild the size, the look and shape of the breast removed. An implant can achieve volume rehabilitation; tissue reconstruction can also be transposed from other parts of the body, i.e. the excess of skin in the belly, muscle from the abdomen or the back, etc. The areola and mammal can be restored later; the other breast can be remodeled to accomplish symmetry between both sides.

Reconstructive:
